This is the original Athena poster, the spark that ignited a musical mystery that has lasted over four decades.
In 1981, I sent this poster to Yoko Ono with a bold request: to ask Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, and The Who to create an interactive musical mystery inspired by its image.
Did they grant my request or didn’t they, Detectives?
Over the following years, did all of those artists, along with even more artists I haven’t mentioned yet, release songs containing subtle clues connected to me, the poster, its mushroom cloud, and the message I wrote for John Lennon?
Examine the evidence. Listen to the music. Follow the clues and decide for yourself.
This poster isn’t just a piece of art; it’s Exhibit A in a real-life rock-and-roll detective story.
This is a limited edition collector’s item. Out of the original 1,500 copies printed in 1980, only 100 pristine, error-free copies remain. This is your chance to own one of the last artifacts from the beginning of the mystery.
